    Produce often wilted the day following purchase. My favorite ice cream often out of stock. Can rarely find frozen lima beans. Frozen veggies seem to move around so that they cannot be found. My Clynk card bit the dust and Hannaford’s couldn’t fix it; I have to call another place. Mixed nuts in the natural foods/bulk section often either empty or stale. Most clerks are pleasant, some very much so. Store is bright, clean and pleasant with good food choices. If management were smart, they’d install a comments box. But are they smart?

    I’ve been shopping at Hannaford’s before it was Hannaford’s. When it was Shop ‘n Save. And I’ve never been sorry. Fair, clean, good employee’s, good service, friendly service. I recommend it to all of my friends.

    I like shipping at Hannaford’s but I hate their rewards program. I am part of the rewards program but I do not like the fact that you have to punch in your phone number every time you buy something. You know how easy it is to miss enter the number and on top of that if the clerk doesn’t press the right key before you spend all your time entering the stupid number in doesn’t go through. I have had it happen to me several times. I get home and look at the receipt and see there is no information of rewards status. The rewards program is a great idea it’s just that Hannaford goes about it all wrong. I’ve complained about this over and over again. Why don’t they just issue a card like all the other stores do so all you got to do is swipe it. Come on guys stop living in the dark ages!!

    Just tried the online order site to order my groceries as my legs are bad so don’t like walking around the store looking for stuff. I am a senior and the site was easy to order on last night. This morning I went to get it and was pleasantly surprised how wonderful the pick up was. I went in and the line was short and quick-I arrived at the store at 12:10 and I was our of there in my car by 12:20. My things were all bagged in sturdy brown bags with handles packed in a cart waiting for me with a nice gentleman who took them out for me and put them in the car. On arriving home they were all there and breakables were wrapped in smaller bags and put in the bigger bag to prevent breakage. Good Job Hannaford!! I definitely will do again- makes life so much easier for me!

    We love this store. It is not too big, but certainly not too small. Clerks are always helpful and friendly. Aisles are clear and clean. Someoneus nearly always in the parking lot gathering carts, and always saying hello and offering a hand if you need it. I thought Publix, in SC where we lived before coming north, the best market ever. Hannaford is right up there with them.

    At the Lincoln, Maine store I was looking for a product I have never purchased before, and when I couldn’t find it I went to Nancy Daigle, who was bagging groceries at the time. She got someone else to take her place and went WAY out if her way to help me. When we were unsuccessful she contacted Karen Furrow to come assist. This is why I love my local Hannaford store. We determined that at this time arrowroot is not available, but I couldn’t be more impressed with their efforts. They should be acknowledged.

    I was at your Winthrop Maine store this afternoon and just wanted to say the cashier Libby was great!!! She was the most pleasant girl ever to ring me up .She deserves to be acknowledged,Thank You,I shop Hannaford all the time

    Very frustrating: set up my rewards program on-line because we shop frequently at Hannaford in BBH. Went to the store, number didn’t work. Day 2 called customer service, waited 20 minutes and said they relinked the number. Day 3 went back to store, number did not work. Called again, waited 10 minutes and went through a series of questions and they said it was linked. Oh, and did we tell you it takes 48 hours to work. No, they didn’t. C’mon guys. Hope this was worth the effort!

    Made to order breakfast sandwiches no more!?
    Why?
    I love to see my breakfast made FRESH! right in front of me! Really!?
    Took the employee 4 min. To make.
    I know of others Dissapointed with who’s choice ,made by Hannaford.
    Please bring it back.

    We, My Sister & I go to Walmart for some things. Not many though. We love that We know where everything is and We wouldn’t buy produce anywhere else. We also love Your meats. We are usually in the Hannaford several times a week. The People who work at Hannaford Your Employees are very Friendly & Kind!

    I’m a regular customer and was shocked that you folks don’t carry comet cleanser any longer! It’s one of my staples. I think it’s been on stores shelves for the past hundred years! What’s up folks?

    I work with seniors and disabled adults and have shopped at the Sanford store off an on for 5 years. One of your managers have impressed me every time I have shopped there. Her name is Denise Bougie. She is extremely positive with customers and employees, modeling the way everyone wants to be treated. She is always jumping in to help bag groceries, tidy up carts at the entrance, or check on something for a customer. She does this sweetly but not in high-strung manner which creates a climate of calmness, positiveness, and a “do what you notice needs to be done” example. She deserves some recognition for being an example everyone working with the public would do well to emulate. Thank you, Denise!

    I’m pretty geekie for a great-grandmother… There seems to be directions on what to click to start the survey but I can not find any buttons that actually activate the survey. You have a lot more customers that are less computer literate than I am… You should have made it much more intuitive. I give up.

    I want to commend an employee at the Belfast,Me Hannaford store. his name is Edward and this young man is a pleasure to deal with! he is pleasant,helpful and goes the extra mile with his customers to be sure they get the service they need . every time I’ve had him as a cashier it has made my visit to that store a pleasure. More young men should have his manners and attention to detail as well as his customer attention.

    I shopped @ Hannaford’s in Herkimer, NY on 3/08/19 and found my favorite tomatoes on sales (Plum) for $1.49/lb and went to check them out. I am a very fussy shopper and look for the best I can find for our table. Immediately loving the entire look, feel and arrangement of the plum tomatoes, I purchased 2ls for a tomato & mozzarella salad for supper that night. They were delicious and I was so pleased that I went to the store to find the product person and told him about my purchase. Of course, I have to admit that I usually purchase my fruit & veggies from Hannaford because they seem to be personally put out for me. They look fresh & taste so good. thank you for selecting the top shelf product for me.

    We love shopping because they sell local products from our surrounding towns. We love supporting our local business, this is very important to use. The freshness of the products are always noticeable. We prefer shopping at Hannaford over other grocery stores in our area.

    1) I dislike walking through the beer aisle to get eggs. 2) if you don’t enter your Rewards number, it cannot be corrected, they do not handle their own program. Your program does not run well; 3)your store remodel has driven me over the edge, stop it. 4) why does “customer service” do register transactions, sell scratch tickets, and not “customer service”? This should be a dedicated person, a problem solver. 5) why do you want to put meat in plastic when I bring my own freshly laundered reusable bags??

    i just returned from shopping at Hannafords in Farmington. I had a $3.00 clipped coupon for fresh salmon. I purchased $11.99 worth of fresh salmon portions. I did not receive the $3.00 credit for fresh salmon

    Kind of disgusted with your rewards program. I try to do all my grocery shopping at Hannaford because of the great meat and some other things I cannot get anywhere else nearby. I shop every 2 weeks (just for us 2 retired people). Well I do all my rewards things properly, try to purchase as many of their brands as possible, etc. Well this past Monday I needed to shop for 2 weeks, and I had a $13.00 reward if I spent $115.00. – due to expire 0n 02/20/19. Well my total only came to $100.84 which I will now lose because I won’t be spending $155.00 again before that date! Do you get my drift??? This does NOT make me want to shop there anymore much less use that stupid rewards program! (and I have shopped there for many years).

    On Saturday my daughter and I visited the Hannaford store in Pawling, New York. It was the day before the Super Bowl. I wanted to buy one item in the deli department and I ended up standing on line for over twenty minutes. They only had one person waiting on customers and it was a very long line of customers.

    It took me 2 minutes to find something to buy for lunch. I was greeted by Leslie. She is such a lovely girl, and is always pleasant. She engages with each and every customer that goes through her register, and adds that little extra special to my day!!
