The lobster steamer has been ‘broken for a year. Like the new fruit/vegetable aisle. The 3day sale is false advertising which is illegal. I spoke with Kevin, the manager, about several complaints. He said he would get back to me, that was over a month ago. In addition we can no longer get the weekly flyer on line unless we join a club which is a marketing scam. I will try not to go to the Porter Sq. store

I’m actually very frustrated with the star market store in Quincy Ma on Granite Street # 2573. My cashier was Abdul he was very robotic he scanned all the items was not very friendly and at the end I brought to his attention that the polar seltzer I had bought was not ringing up as a sale item, He was confused and I had to show him repeatedly that I had purchased for 12 packs that were on sale for 4 for $10. The items rang up at 499 apiece and I had to repeatedly show him. Abdul stood at the register staring across at customer service and was asking for assistance the woman behind the counter at customer service was ignoring him as she was busy attending to her own customer service issues. 499 apiece and I had to repeatedly show him. Abdul stood at the register staring across at customer service and was asking for assistance the woman behind the counter at customer service was ignoring him as she was busy attending to her own customer service issues. Abdul waited over 3 to 5 minutes for this customer service representative to respond they were yelling back-and-forth from the register to the customer service desk very unprofessional and then the woman came over and simply looked at the monitor and said “I don’t know why this keeps happening” and walked away. Abdul stood there staring at her in disbelief literally two minutes went by with him just staring back over customer service and nothing being done or said so I spoke up and said to her can you please help with this situation these are on sale but it’s not showing on the register receipt… this customer service rep proceeded to yell across the store at me “I am calling someone in a second” I was in disbelief of the way I was being treated this entire situation took about 8 minutes before finally a person came to the register and resolved it she was just as frustrated with the situation and fixed it and went back about her business never addressing me or apologizing for the grocery store. Abdul also never apologized for this entire situation and just robotically went about his business. I again was in disbelief this was happening as I was walking out I just said to the customer service rep behind the counter “this is pretty pathetic customer service“ and she just proceeded to smirk at me and waved as I walked away from the customer service desk. As I got home I was looking at my receipt and realized that another item that was supposed to be on sale was not reflective on my receipt I bought Quaker cereal cinnamon it was on sale for three dollars it rang up for $4.49.
I spent $67.34 in your store I shop there regularly and have never had this major of an issue but after this type of situation I will think twice about shopping at the Quincy star market. If anybody from your customer service department would like to contact me to discuss this I am 100% willing to talk to somebody my name is Tim my phone number is 781-267-5615 hopefully stomach it will rise to the occasion and try to correct this situation.

I had the worst experience ever at Star Market Newtonville MA because of Denise. She was rude, incompetent, slow and downright nasty. She even suggested that things would go a lot faster if I packed my own groceries. I still can’t believe it.

Was unable to add name and email. Usually good service. Unfortunately. Accidently left without getting $$ I had requested on top of paying for my groceries. Called back to store and informed i need to wait until tomorrow when all cashiers check out. I called back within 20mins. Couldve just checked in with cashier. I dont drive so this is inconvenient, however I am still expecting good outcome as usually vey good and polite customer service at this store.

I live in Newtonville but wrk in auburndale this is the Star market that I have now switched to. The Store it self since it’s makeover is not only pleasing to the eye. It is also very easy to locate the products your looking to buy! I always look forward to my wkly shopping experience here. If ever I do have a question everyone in the store is friendly and helpful!
I especially love visiting Maria in the flower department. She’s not only just amazing in her skills at making beautiful flower arrangements.
She always friendly and goes the extra mile as she remembers who I generally tend to buy wkly flowers for. Always asking how my grandmother is doing remembering which flowers I got for my grandmother the week prior and making suggestions of others that might be nice to try that wk! The fact that she remembers me and who I buy flowers for. Really speaks to her character and that with all the customers that she has is a really nice feeling that she takes the time to remember all that!

I just want to take the time and say I love shopping at the Star Market on Lexington street in Waltham, Massachusetts. Roberta the store Manager is absolutely wonderful. She’s always smiling, and ready to help. As frustrating it is to deal with customers on a daily basis she handles it very well. She is very professional. She’s wonderful! Also Rita at customer service is absolutely wonderful.

I cannot fill out the survey on my iPhone and don’t have a computer. When I click on survey link 1 it says “thank you for taking the survey” which I wasn’t able to, do I will forget it. I give it a 5 rating! Too expensive in BOSTON since welfare people get a free debit card to use,

The store I often go to for lunch is great (Store: 7576, Boston 02215) except one thing: complete lack of info in the a la carte section. At a minimum please provide naming for each dish/food item (what kind of meat/fish/sauce/vegetable/etc, is it baked/fried/sauteed/steamed/etc) and at a maximum list main ingredients for those with allergies/hypersensitivities (think about gluten intolerant or hating a specific spice, or Pesto or Alfredo sauce). Thanks!
