USPS Customer Experience Feedback Survey

About USPS
The United States Postal Service (USPS), also known as the Post Office and U.S. Mail, is an independent agency of the United States government in charge of providing postal service in the United States. The USPS has exclusive access to letter boxes marked “U.S. Mail” and personal letterboxes in the United States, but still competes against private package delivery services, such as UPS and FedEx.

Our post office has excellent and friendly people providing great service.

The post office deficit can and should be easily fixed. In this digital age, who needs mail service every day? Make mail service every other day, half on a MWF schedule and half on a TTHS schedule. You could cut the workforce in half!

ur contract postal workers are the best I’ve ever had. They are so friendly and nice to see everyday that I go in to check My PO.Box

Aaron was very patient, efficient and helpful during a Certified Mail situation today. He was able to help me prepare, paid for and print a Certified Mail Label for a letter which I will mail tomorrow. Aaron is an asset to your organization and should be appreciated for his efforts. I hope he knows I am writing this as I think he might remember this 88 year old computer challenged lady. Thank you.

We live on a rural route. The service has always been excellent. Just watch the prices. We realize they will increase, just not to the point where it costs 15 bucks to mail a 12 dollar item.

Homosassa Springs – always good service – clerk 11 is the best – poor man was busy and all by himself. Thank you and God bless…

I am the current resident, retired, no business, and have lived here for 14 years. Wood Well Drilling has not been here for that long and has been out of business for 10 of those years. However we sill appreciate the excellent and courteous service.

  9. Rated 4

Not bad. Keep up the good work.

Our service is great. Our carrier John who has been here about a year or two is the nicest carrier we have had in 20 years. Please don’t change him unless it is completely necessary.

  11. Rated 5

We get excellent service from the post office box we have for our home owners association. I can not think of a single improvement you could make to improve the service.
    Thank you so much

USPS says I live “out of bounds” therefor I have to go to the post office to pick up my mail. USPS will deliver .5 miles down my road and I live .6 and they won’t deliver. Seems like they could go the extra tenth of a mile.

Our carrier, Cyndi is awesome. In 50 years of mail delivery, we have never experienced the professionalism, her smile and friendliness shown with each encounter, displays a very dedicated and loyal team member. I have two brothers that retired from the Postal Service each with 35 years each service. I see why they loved the job they have and it’s apparent that this love still existing after they both retired now 20 years. Keep up the great work both on home delivery and also inside each and every front countered facility.

  14. Rated 5

Overall I have very good experience with carrier and post office as well.

  15. Rated 5

I have always had good service from my carrier. Last month I had two checks I had sent to pay bills that failed to get there but it was not my carriers fault because I mailed them from the local Post Office. One was to Shell oil and I don’t remember who the other one was to.

Overall we are very pleased with our mail carrier however last week we were out of town and rather than leaving our package on our covered front porch they left it on our potting bench which is not covered and it rained. Up until then they have always used our front porch.

i think the service is ok
sometimes mail comes at different times of the day
because my mail box is hidden a new postman has trouble finding it
but overall the service is acceptable

  22. Rated 5

The postal clerk was very knowledgable. He processed my international package quickly with a professional manner.

Went to pickup a money order. There were two stations open one stations closed, lady said her machine wasn’t working so I got back in line. After waiting again the gentleman called me forward. It took him 3 tries to get it to print. The machine was destroying the money orders. USPS need to keep the equipment working correctly or move employee to working equipment. I was disappointed with the lack service today.

  24. Rated 5

I Think the USPS is doing a great job,” right on time, right there when you need it.”

  25. Rated 5

Our postal service is great here in Lake Bluff Illinois. The only issue I have with the USPS service is Certified Mail. It takes forever to receive the return receipt back – if we get it at all.

  26. Rated 5

I have a FANTASTIC MAILMAN .great JOB

  27. Rated 1

I do business with my local post office most business day as a walk-in. I like going to the post office because I like to interact with people. But, from time to time there are days that you see a line of people and you just say really, only one clerk working and there are at least a half dozen workers just milling around smartly and doing absolutely nothing. One day a clerk just closed his window with a line of people, another day a clerk was upset because I paid with change. This isn’t mean all of your clerks are that way. There are three individuals that are A+++++ employees and are made to look bad by lazy bums that are collecting a paycheck. I am sure the postmaster is aware of this lack of motivation…the postmaster’s office is right within sight of this mess.

I am not complaining about the services at the Post Office itself. I sent a regular envelope with no tracking number on Thursday, October 10. It had a US address. Today, Wednesday, October 16, the recipient has not yet received the envelope. Your service really stinks. I am aware that Monday, October 14 was Columbus Day but does is really have to take ONE WEEK TO DELIVER AN ENVELOPE?

  29. Rated 1

USPS services stink. ALWAYS RUDE both home delivery carriers and S.L.O.W. as molasses counter staff. Totally indignent to their role as public servants. Overpriced products. My carrier cannot even deposit the correct mail into the correct recipient’s mailbox.

    My besiness is no longer

  31. Rated 5

greeted with a smile and every effort was made to help. If all Post offices were like Signal Mountain the USPS would have regular profits

  32. Rated 1

There is no business at this address

  33. Rated 4

Your tracking needs to be updated a little. It only says sent and arrived not where in transit.

Always a pleasure to come to this PO. Extremely busy PO, however, the workers, Lisa, Louis, Jeff are always expeditiously working to accommodate the lines, very helpful, pleasant, and kind people.

  36. Rated 3

A pleasant friendly attitude is a must! Sour faces / attitudes do not help USPS. Overall the people are okay but not as friendly as they could be. Their service is okay too.

  37. Rated 4

The people that work with us are very nice and helpful. It is the program systems that need the work with it is comes to the out going mail. Pam and Mr. Barry in the Church Street office are so nice. They help when they can, but the training for the employees is something to be desired. The ladies in the Sanston office around Richmond Virginia help as much as possible but the training or acceptability to the compute system is not given to those who work with the customers. They are very nice as well.

The clerk, I think her name is Amy, at the post office facility at 144th Place in Orland Park was so helpful when I needed to ship a package with a prepaid label. I actually had two different packages with the same prepaid label and I didn’t realize it. I am so glad she told me, otherwise one package would have been sent to the facility with postage due. She was so friendly and professional! She is definitely an asset to the post office. I am leaving this comment because I was unable to navigate the survey site.

The clerks at Dellslow post office are very professional and knowledgeable. They are helpful with their questions, trying to find the best way for you to mail a pkg. they are 2 women. One is named Kim. They are cordial as well. Trying to do your survey is very difficult to navigate. So I am just leaving a comment.
