About USPS
The United States Postal Service (USPS), also known as the Post Office and U.S. Mail, is an independent agency of the United States government in charge of providing postal service in the United States. The USPS has exclusive access to letter boxes marked “U.S. Mail” and personal letterboxes in the United States, but still competes against private package delivery services, such as UPS and FedEx.

    The post master lady sent my mail back wouldn’t allow me to pay what I owe for my out box then told me she as doing away then and that was 2 years ago. She lied to me cause a huge scene was totally unnecessary. And when she sent my mail back and close my box I still had 14 days left to make the rent payments on the box. Then anthor time she took it upon herself to drive 6 miles outa town and I caught her going Thur my garbage can , please call there’s more 612 703-1969

    I do not go to the post office myself. haven’t been there for over two years. if we’re out of town my wife takes care of having the mail stopped or started again. haven’t had any issues. but knowing how things can go. there is always room for improvement.

    I realize we in a pandemic I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MAIL TO THIS ADDRESS SINCE 2018 OFF AND ON. WHEN I CAME TO POST OFFICE IT SAID TO ME THAT WE WENT OUT OF BUSINESS NOT TRUE WE ARE AN ESTABLISH FOOD PANTRY HERE THE CHURCH.PLEASE HELP DIRECTOR of MINISTRY/ E .WHITE 586-913-7348.

    I was at the East Haven,Ct. post office on 5/4/21 – i got the best service ever from a young man at the counter. He was not only very knowledgeable about what I needed to do but he was also very respectful and very jovial. He made it seem like he was very happy to help me.You don’t get that in very many people today. Just wanted to say he was great.I’m just sorry that I did’t get his name so that I could tell his boss what a terrific rep. he had working for him. All I do know is that on the receipt was clerk :03 Thanks Mark V.

    I have been very upset with the carrier being rude and not delivering mail if a B is not on the envelope. He had not deliveried many bills/ letters because of this and bills have been late due to not getting mail on time. My credit score has gone down due to him. He will stamp the letter five times with red alert( rude). We stress to people please put the B on it. We have lived in the same place all our lives in a rural town. The postal workers are pleasant and helpful.

    They are liars and complicit in voter fraud. They are anything but heroes, the label they proudly give to themselves outside my local post office. They are liars, incompetent, and rude.

    At this very moment I’m not satisfied with the service from the post office. On Nov. 27th, 2020 Friday, I maile d a Birthday package to my son which was a week away on Dec. 4,2020. As of today’s date Dec 9th,2020 my package has not been delivered. My rating would be an F plus. From this day on I will be using another package delivery service. If you want your package delivered on time I would suggest you choose someone else instead of the Post Office.

    As a residential customer I believe the postal service is as good as the local mail carriers
    And our experience here has been very satisfactory

    One recommendation: If they could develop a system for tracking missing mail or packages, then they would really become a great service to use.

    As a residential customer I believe the postal service is as good as the local mail carriers. Ours goes above and beyond. Courteous, friendly and helpful. I can say that about any worker I have ever dealt with.

    I like their service, its reliable and dependable while being affordable. The USPS drivers are friendly and professional.

    Last few months. Mail most days not delivered. Some days after hours. Not same mail carrier. Substitute mail carriers from other routes.

    The post office deficit can and should be easily fixed. In this digital age, who needs mail service every day? Make mail service every other day, half on a MWF schedule and half on a TTHS schedule. You could cut the workforce in half!

    Aaron was very patient, efficient and helpful during a Certified Mail situation today. He was able to help me prepare, paid for and print a Certified Mail Label for a letter which I will mail tomorrow. Aaron is an asset to your organization and should be appreciated for his efforts. I hope he knows I am writing this as I think he might remember this 88 year old computer challenged lady. Thank you.

    We live on a rural route. The service has always been excellent. Just watch the prices. We realize they will increase, just not to the point where it costs 15 bucks to mail a 12 dollar item.

    I am the current resident, retired, no business, and have lived here for 14 years. Wood Well Drilling has not been here for that long and has been out of business for 10 of those years. However we sill appreciate the excellent and courteous service.

    Our service is great. Our carrier John who has been here about a year or two is the nicest carrier we have had in 20 years. Please don’t change him unless it is completely necessary.

    We get excellent service from the post office box we have for our home owners association. I can not think of a single improvement you could make to improve the service.

    USPS says I live “out of bounds” therefor I have to go to the post office to pick up my mail. USPS will deliver .5 miles down my road and I live .6 and they won’t deliver. Seems like they could go the extra tenth of a mile.

    Our carrier, Cyndi is awesome. In 50 years of mail delivery, we have never experienced the professionalism, her smile and friendliness shown with each encounter, displays a very dedicated and loyal team member. I have two brothers that retired from the Postal Service each with 35 years each service. I see why they loved the job they have and it’s apparent that this love still existing after they both retired now 20 years. Keep up the great work both on home delivery and also inside each and every front countered facility.

    I have always had good service from my carrier. Last month I had two checks I had sent to pay bills that failed to get there but it was not my carriers fault because I mailed them from the local Post Office. One was to Shell oil and I don’t remember who the other one was to.

    Overall we are very pleased with our mail carrier however last week we were out of town and rather than leaving our package on our covered front porch they left it on our potting bench which is not covered and it rained. Up until then they have always used our front porch.
