    Donald was very helpful on Saturday 11/9/19. He went over and above to get my new wiperblades put on my car. He cleaned my windshield and put wiper fluid in my car. This was at the Greenwood,SC store on Route 72 Bypass

    There was tags saying the t6 oil was $19.99 so I get 5 jugs of it get up to pay n its 25 a jug so dead so we went back to look at the tags I was right but it still came up 25 so I dead no big deal I will put them back on the shelf n pay for a few things I had the guy was a ass from that point on I said thanks n sorry he didn’t say nothing. I guess I will b at auto zone for now on

    str# 09401 Mulberry,fl.10/09/19 20.04 I bought some RAIN X silicon windshield wipers at this store. The service here was excellent! Both employees helped me find the right kind of wipers.I believe the guy at the register was Alberto T. because that is the name on my receipt. The other guy who installed the wipers I believe was Marcos. He introduced himself, but I apologize if I got his name wrong, because my memory is not what it used to be. Both gentlemen immediately asked me if I needed help the minute I walked in the store.You’re very fortunate to have employees like this working for you! Thanks, Mike!

    Needed new battery, car just made it to store #06212 @7:30pm. Staff checked my battery. Indicated that my car battery is bad, told me they can sell me a battery. However can not put it in my car “until tomorrow”. After telling “James D”. That my car will not start, he said he could give me a jump, but it’s only 2 of them in the store and for safety reasons he could not put the battery in. I purchased the battery and waited for help. Worst customer I have ever experienced :(

    Carl B. changed my entire impression of store # 09593 1131 45th Street Mangonia Park, Florida 33407. I came before to have a battery checked that I previously brought from that store, the older guy that helped me acted like he didn’t want to work & assured me that my battery was fine & the people who told me something was wrong with it only was doing it for commission. Well after work one morning in a total different city my car wouldn’t crank at a gas station, I had to wait on AAA who told me it was my battery that I’ve only had a year at this time. When I returned Carl B. Helped me & my friend out. He took really good care of me. I appreciate him. He did his job & didn’t make any excuses.

    Walk in to an advance auto parts store on perin beitel in San antonio tx. Looking for battery you’ll had one for 145.00. Told manager that pep boys had a battery cheaper. Manager did not offer anything to try to keep me in the store and get my business. As a diy customer I would not let anyone leave my store with out an offer. If u would like to contact me.     We love our sales guy he really knows his REAL auto mechanicing. All of it.and if not sure,
    He research’s it for you rather than fake or bs thru it to make ADD ON sales..he’s very real n has actual worked on vehicals.. complete with a boo boo on his knuckle.. awesomeness

    I bought a trailer hitch receiver that dropped down 6 inches from Advance in Kernersville, N.C. I installed the ball on it and slid into my hitch, It did not drop far enough and I had to lift my trailer to connect. This was the lowest one that they had. I found another one at a local hardware store that dropped 8 inches that worked for my needs. I did not get back to Advance to return unit a week later and they would not take it back because I had installed a ball on it and scratched the paint on it. They told me that it could not be resold for that reason. the one that I bought from the hardware store was scratched and did not stop me from purchasing it. After all it is a piece of steel and as soon as you put it in your receiver its going to scratch it. You could learn something about customer service, I have always shopped at Advance before other auto stores, but I have never had to return anything. I will never shop at your stores again.

    I’ve been having some concerns with my 2013 6.2l V8 motor. I frequently shop between AutoZone and Advanced Auto Parts and I’ve always believed Advanced Auto Parts to be a step ahead- but never had any reasoning to justify it until now.

    I went into the Newark NY store this evening and met a gentleman by the name of Kyle who I spoke to on the phone about some spark plugs and head gasket information. I insisted that my motor was a 6.2l V8 because that was how it was sold to me at the dealer- and the sticker under the hood confirmed that as well as the dealer info.

    Kyle took one glance at my motor and informed me it was indeed a 5.0 liter. So apparently the salesperson at the dealership misdirected me into buying it as a different motor. I purchased the truck for my fiancé at the time so I never really questioned it.

    Kyle not only pointed me in the right direction but he wouldn’t allow me to buy the gasket sealer I wanted because he insisted it would never work with the type of gasket material my motor had.

    Turns out the hood had been replaced (even though I bought the truck brand new). He showed me how it had been painted. He said sometimes it happens when they ship them on a tractor trailer- someone should inform the dealership of that!

    Kyle literally saved my motor and my life. The level of expertise that was bestowed upon me by this gentleman is the same reason I go to church. He actually cared and you know; it’s hard to put a value on that.

    Invaluable expertise to say the least. I am in debt to this gentleman and because of that- I’m now strictly an Advanced Auto Parts guy for life.

    I can’t thank you enough Kyle. Somebody should recognize when customer service exceeds the boundaries of everyday transactions. This guy deserves a raise and some serious recognition for his level of expertise. I would’ve never gotten this type of service through AutoZone- they just do not have the knowledge and your company should be proud of that. It takes a lot to impress me. Kyle blew me away- and he did it with kindness and professionalism that I was beginning to fear no longer existed in this community of auto parts sales. It’s all about sales right? I beg to differ. It’s about caring and being honest. You need more than 5 stars for situations like this! Fantastic experience!

    I was at Advance Auto Parts January 4th 2019 at 3:25 pm I walked in and asked for some 8 gauge wire so Jacob employee came we were looking for the wire he could not find nothing but 14 gauge so he said there was no 8 Gage I was about to go and I saw the 8 gauge and I said here it is some gauge he did not see it cuz he don’t know where it was. he called me a smart ass really loud and it was so embarrassing I told him I was going to report him and he said he don’t care he will give me his name I don’t think people like him is good for your business you can contact me if you like 850-525-4903 my name is Reginald Thompson I have a witness that was with me at my visit to Advance Auto Parts

    I’d never been to a place where they sell faulty parts (damaged and torn) and they believe it’s okay for the customer not to get a refund when those items don’t work. I know this place is supposed to be like the black market, but that’s ridiculous. I could have just went to my main dealer and pay a little extra for my device to work efficiently.

    I never been to a place where the managers have their employees handle irate customers like myself instead of dealing with them personally, but yet they throw in bullsh@t comments to get their point across. Last time I’d checked, a manager is supposed to manage things, including customers.

    Thank you Advance Auto Parts, I’d learned my lesson. I will never come to your establishment again. I shouldn’t have been cheap and just went to my provider in the first place. I forgot with them, I’m paying for more than just cash, I’m paying for their CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Manager at store 6316 excellent . I have been dealing with James Y for couple of years now. He is very professional , proud of his store 6316, conducts every transaction with customer in mind , stops what he doing within store to simple say hello , he excellent in directing his staff ,helping them if needed, James make sure U are happy with his staff , James goes the extra asking about family , friends, what going on in community . Thank U James

    Survey not working like your parts, my started did not work, so went to take it back. no box so no take backs, Well your Employes kept the box to send the core back. So i went to car quest. Also an Advance store. Sold me the wrong starter. Took it back and they also did not want to take it because….no box! They also kept the box.
