The Readsurvey “Tell Us” Sweepstakes Official Rules
SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD: The Readsurvey “Tell Us” Sweepstakes begins at 01:59:59 AM Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) on Monday, February 9, 2015 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PST on Saturday, December 31, 2016 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: The Readsurvey “Tell Us” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico, other United States territories and foreign territories), aged 18 or older at the time of entry. Void outside the U.S. and wherever else prohibited by law. Employees of Readsurvey and its parents, members, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and persons living in the household of each are not eligible to participate. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
ENTRY: During the Sweepstakes Period, participants must visit www.readsurvey.com/tellus and like Readsurvey Facebook page to answer the required questions and provide the contact information. The answers to the questions will have no effect on a participant’s ability to enter or win. Upon completion of the questions and acceptance of the sweepstakes official rules, the participant needs to share this sweepstakes to his/her Facebook timeline so as to receive one (1) sweepstakes entry. Entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible for the prize draw. All information received becomes the property of Readsurvey, and will not be shared with or sold to any third party. Readsurvey’s computer is the official clock for this Sweepstakes. Readsurvey will not be responsible for illegible, late, lost, mutilated, misdirected, postage due or stolen manual entries.
Limit: One (1) entry per person or per Facebook account per day.
GENERAL ENTRY CONDITIONS: No automated entries (including but not limited to entries made using any script, bot, macro or giveaway service), or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an entry, the authorized holder of the Facebook account used to participate in the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and he/she must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, education institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
RANDOM DRAWING: One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded at the end of the Sweepstakes Period. There will be a total of 1 random, pre-determined computer-generated winning time seeded over the course of the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”)/ODDS: One (1) Grand Prize: $200.00 Amazon.com Gift Card or $200.00 The Home Deport eGift Card.
Total ARV of the Grand Prize: $200.00 USD.
Redemption of the Gift Card will be subject to Amazon’s or The Home Deport standard terms, conditions and restrictions applicable to Amazon.com Gift Card or The Home Depot eGift Card in effect on the day of issuance of the Gift Card.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: Prize winner will be notified by email/Facebook and requested to confirm their email address and eligibility within 48 hours via return email. If a Gift Card is returned as undeliverable or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in a separate random drawing.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Readsurvey. Winner acknowledges that Readsurvey and all other businesses affiliated with this Sweepstakes and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations,expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, conditions, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of the prize being offered. Prize details and availability are subject to change, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value may be substituted at Readsurvey’s sole discretion. Federal, state, or local taxes on prize, if any, and any other costs, fees or expenses not listed above are the sole responsibility of each winner.
GENERAL RULES: Readsurvey is not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate or omitted entry information, or any combination thereof, printing errors, or late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mechanically reproduced, illegible or postage-due entries or mail, for technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit a user’s ability to participate. Readsurvey reserves the right to cancel or modify the sweepstakes or disqualify entrant if fraud, misconduct, technical failures, or any error destroys the integrity of the sweepstakes as determined solely by Readsurvey. Any attempt by an individual to deliberately damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Readsurvey reserves the right to seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent of the law. In the event a winner entered via the internet and a dispute arises regarding the specific individual entitled to receive the prize, such entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e -mail address making the submission.
Acceptance of any prize shall constitute (i) an agreement to be bound by these rules, and (ii) winner’s consent to the use of his/her name, photograph, likeness, biography, voice and/or video for advertising and promotional purposes, including online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
